Dear Parishioners of Immaculate Conception,

It is with great sorrow that we share the news of Fr. Jimmy Jeanfreau’s death. He died in a tragic accident sometime last night and was found this morning by members of the  Immaculate Conception school staff.  The community will gather this evening at 6 pm in the church for a prayer vigil. All are welcome to join to pray together as a community that all may feel God’s love and mercy in this tragedy.

This is indeed a shock. Please know you are in our prayers as we ask you to join us in prayer for the repose of Fr. Jimmy’s soul and for his family. Please remember in prayer all those who mourn Fr. Jimmy in our archdiocese as well as around the world.
