Liturgical Celebration of the Fourth Sunday of Advent and Christmas Vigil 2023

This year Christmas Eve falls on the 4th Sunday of Advent, therefore all Masses celebrated before 4 pm are for the 4th Sunday of Advent. Advent and Christmas are the same rank and for the good of all the faithful all Masses celebrated after 4 pm are to use the prayers and readings for Christmas. Christmas Mass Schedule: Christmas Eve, Dec 24th at 4 pm; Christmas Day: 8 am, 10 am & 12 pm (Spanish). No 6 pm Mass. New Years Eve, Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Dec 31st—8 am; 10 am & 12 pm; No 6 pm Mass New Years Day, Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, Jan 1st—Because the Solemnity of Mary falls on a Monday, it is not observed as a day of obligation. Therefore all Masses are to be that of the Holy Family. However, Masses for Jan 1st are 10 am and 12 pm (Sp), no 6 pm Mass.
